Call for Contributions for the Industrial Sessions at ERF2024

On behalf of the ERF Programme Committee and of the ERF Scientific board, we invite you to contribute to the 15th edition of the European Robotics Forum, to be held from 13-15 March 2024 in Rimini, Italy.

The European Robotics Forum (ERF) is the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe, spanning academia, industry, and society. It aims to foster communication and knowledge transfer and covers technology, applications, and impact of robotics. The ERF provides a podium to discuss recent and future advances in robotics in context of applications, societal impact, ethical and legal considerations.

Research on the applications of Robotics and AI to the industrial scenario is leading to a very fast-growing innovation in Europe. Thus, it is more and more important to foster the discussion between researchers and industry to create a synergy that will drive the future of research and industrial innovation.

ERF2024 introduces an industrial scientific track for strengthening the scientific component of ERF. Industrial scientific sessions will present the latest scientific results about advanced industrial applications of modern robotics. To foster the discussion between researcher and industry, the contributions of the industrial sessions will be presented in a “pitch and poster” format.

We invite you to submit contributions on industrial applications of robotics (maximum 5 pages, single-column, in PDF format). Contributions will be peer-reviewed. Accepted contributions will be published in the indexed Springer Proceedings in Advanced Robotics (SPAR) with Series Editors: Bruno Siciliano, Oussama Khatib.

Please submit your contribution in standard Springer Proceedings in Advanced Robotics (SPAR) format, which is available at this link with the Latex and Word templates. The authors’ guidelines for the preparation of contributions come with templates.

In the unlikely case that the “ERF 2024” cannot be held in whole or in part due to any event beyond the Organizers’ control or force majeure (such as riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, strikes, acts of law or regulation by Italian or foreign Authorities, epidemic outbreak, sanitary emergency, etc.) the Congress Organizers cannot be held liable for any damage, cost, or loss incurred, such as registration fee, transportation and accommodation costs, or any other direct or indirect loss or consequential damage.
