Workshop Description: This workshop offers a deep dive into the transformative potential of AI and robotics in healthcare, addressing the evolving needs of patients while also emphasising the well-being and efficiency of healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics. Robotics provide innovative solutions with the potential to revolutionise care provision and support for both patients and healthcare providers. We will present use cases and success stories from hospitals and care homes, showcasing the extent of support provided to caregivers, medical staff, and patients. We will be joined by experts from SPRING, DIH-HERO, PHARAON, PRIMI, ARISE, to discuss user feedback, challenges, and the acceptance of robotics solutions. We will showcase video demos of PAL Robotics’ ARI and TIAGo robots from real-world trials, allowing participants to observe their interactive capabilities in healthcare settings.
