Main questions to be answered: HOw the EU AI act impacts the Health and Medical robotics domain
Workshop Description: The workshops present relevant issue and clauses from the EU AI Act that are pertinent to Heaelth and Medical Robotics in ordr to provide grounds for open discussion with the participants. The discussion is expected to provide insights in the possible hurdles and way ahead in robotics implementation in this domain, inclusive of technical solutions to those ocntroversial points such as explanability and similar from the EU_ AI ACt. Controversial Technical, Ethical, and Risk assesment aspects will emerge and uptaken in the follow-up activities of the workshop.
Intended Outcome: Workshop expected to create a roadmap or white paper, Workshop covering material new to ERF that the Robotics community should engage with
Approach: 80 minutes slot 20 minutes of presentations in order to prompt the debate. 50 minutes open discussion 10 minutes to write minutes and define follow-up activities and collaborations among participants and TGs to write a white paper
